I built Couponkind.com using Next.js which allowed for serving fully rendered html from the server improving the websites crawlability, while also taking advantage of all the DOM manipulation tooling offered by react.
My responsibilities also included coding a Node.js server to integrate into a user tracking and cookie management API. Outside of the branding I also created the design for Couponkind.
Promocodes.com has been redesigned since I left the company, but during my time I developed the front end without any UI frameworks or javascript dependencies to minimize loading time.
To lay the pages out I used grid with flexbox as my fallback. My tooling included sass and gulp.
One thing I want to point out is that I created a very small javascript utility to read in JSON and output html using a template. Which I used mainly to handle search results. You can see that in action in this codepen.
Here I used jekyll to build a static site for SMA's corperate website. My decision making to use a static site generator was for ease of deployment and the very nature of the website was inherently static.
I'm proud to mention that I designed this entire site including the branding.
